Fun guided learning is coupled with free play to allow children to discover themselves and curious facts about the natural world in which they live.

Each morning we will meet at Buckley Park spend about 2 hours socializing, exploring and playing in the forest before heading back to our family licensed daycare where children are engaged in a science themed craft, experiment or activity that develops fine motor skills and kindergarten readiness. 

 

Two year olds accepted on a case by case basis. Contact us for a trial lesson.

Our facility is heated and time outside is adapted in severe weather conditions.

Our goal at Explore Science Club is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers. Keep reading to learn more!

Drop off is at Buckley Park, where children engage in free play in under the tree canopy for 1.5-2 hours.
Pickup is at the ESC Facility where children eat lunch and engage in hands on learning such as science craft, demonstration, food prep/cooking, and gardening.

ESC's facility has a mature garden, Langley Science Garden, with edible plants such as peaches and hazelnuts. These are incorporated into the curriculum.

ESC's home sized garden boasts over 200 plants species. 

This program is eligible for the Affordable Childcare Benefit, this is administered and issued as a refund once a quarter. 

One month notice required for withdrawal. 

2 year olds are accepted on a case by case basis. Must be comfortable spending prolonged time outdoors, diaper changes not possible outdoors, able to stay in a group/not wander off.
